Since a lot of people get frustrated from time to time, there is that endless question if depression is indeed a illness. The answer is: yes. The deadly one, that is. The good news is at the end of this dark canal called depression, there is great hope. Treatment is available in 3 types: psychiatric therapy, antidepressant medicine and the mixture of both. There are also times when electroconvulsive remedy (ECT) and light therapy are employed.
