Since most people get depressed from time to time, there is that endless question if depression is indeed a illness. The answer is: yes. The clinical one, that is. Fortunately at the end of this dark canal called depression, there is great hope. Treatment is available in three types: psychotherapy, antidepressant medicine and the combination of both. Right now there are also times when electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and light remedy are employed.
