Since most people get stressed out from time to time, there is that endless question if depression is indeed a illness. The answer is: yes. The clinical one, that is. It has been stated that about 1 out of 8 Usa residents will likely become clinically depressed. A few experience it once in a lifetime, while others can have lots episodes.

This is a fact: if the person gets depressed for the first time, there is a 50 percent chance that he will fall to the same predicament over again. And come the 2nd time, you have the threat that this individual will go to a third manic depression episode.
