Since a lot of people get frustrated from time to time, there is that everlasting question if depression is indeed a illness. The answer is: yes. The clinical one, that is. It has been stated that about 1 out of 8 United states of america residents will likely become clinically depressed. Several experience it once in a lifetime, while others have lots episodes.

Fortunately at the end of this dark canal called depression, there is hope. Treatment is available in three types: psychotherapy, antidepressant medicine and the mixture of the 2. Right now there are also times when electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and light therapy are use.
