Because most people get depressed from time to time, there is that endless question if depression is indeed a illness. The answer is: yes. The clinical one, that is. 11. Physical aches and pains that have no physiological basis

The good thing is at the end of this dark canal called depression, there is great hope. Treatment is available in 3 types: psychotherapy, antidepressant medicine and the blend of the two. At this time there are also times when electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and light therapy are use.
