Since most people get depressed from time to time, there is that eternal question if depression is indeed a illness. The answer is: yes. The clinical one, that is. The good thing is at the end of this dark canal called depression, there is great hope. Treatment is available in 3 types: hypnosis, antidepressant medicine and the blend of the two. There are also times when electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and light therapy are employed.
