Since most people get stressed out from time to time, there is that endless question if depression is indeed a illness. The answer is: yes. The clinical one, that is. The good thing is at the end of this dark canal called depression, there is hope. Treatment is available in 3 types: psychotherapy, antidepressant medicine and the combination of both. At this time there are also times when electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and light therapy are use.
